Karen Reynolds on her Obsession with home fragrance and new product range.
AGHA Sydney Gift Fair exhibitor Wax Obsession creates stunning candles and home fragrance products inspired by exquisite scents that have the power to positively change the feel and ambiance of any space.
Hand-poured in Melbourne, Wax Obsession strives to use the highest quality materials including all-natural soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks and the finest perfume and essential oils.
The business has grown considerably over the past twelve months and recently celebrated the release of its new Quote Candles collection, ahead of its forthcoming display at the AGHA Sydney Gift Fair in February.
“We love exhibiting at AGHA Gift Fairs to gain new contacts and build relationships with industry leaders,” founder Karen Reynolds told the Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA).
“Retail buyers can especially look out for our new range of humorous and inspiring Quote Candles, which offer something different and are available in our most popular fragrances,” she said.
Explaining why Wax Obsession selected AGHA Gift Fairs as the platform to showcase its latest ranges, Reynolds said she had visited AGHA trade shows prior to becoming an exhibitor and appreciated the invaluable exposure on offer.
“Our brand is all about quality and customer value for money. We put our heart and soul into our products and are committed to continually creating beautiful product lines to keep customers interested,” Reynolds said.
And her top tip for new retail buyers joining AGHA Sydney Gift Fair for the first time?
“There is so much to see at the AGHA Sydney Gift Fair for new retailers, but our best tip would be to make it a fun day, wear comfortable shoes, take your time looking around and take notes,” Reynolds added.
“Look for wholesalers you would like to build a business relationship with. The key to success is building strong supplier contacts, not just focusing on the products themselves. We are passionate about creating beautiful product lines that keep our customers interested and are excited about what’s coming next.”
